House Rules

These house rules are standard practice for short term vacation rentals and were created for your health and safety and that of future guests. Absolutely enjoy the space but please be respectful of the environment and our neighbors. EXTRA GUESTS- The space you have booked is for four people additional overnight guests are not permitted. QUIET HOURS- Please keep noise to a minimum after 10PM and before 7AM. DAMAGED PROPERTY- Accidents happen but if anything is damaged during your stay, please let me know so that I can address it prior to the next guest. You may be charged for property damages incurred during your stay as per the rules of Airbnb, VRBO and the rental agreement. CHECK-IN/ CHECK-OUT- Please respect check-in and check-out times. The cleaners will arrive just after check out to prepare the house for the next guest. Please leave the house neat and free of garbage on your departure; if a greater cleaning service is required, then an extra fee may be charged. Prior to departure, please review the check out instructions listed later in this guide. CHILDREN- This is a family-oriented neighborhood and child friendly home; however children and infants must be under active supervision by a parent or guardian, at all times. PET POLICY- Up to 2 well behaved pets may be allowed with pre-approval and an additional pet cleaning fee. Please be sure to clean after your pet. Our COA only allows 2 pets per cottage. SMOKING- To maintain a fresh and healthy environment, smoking is not allowed in the house. Guests will be charged for additional cleaning in the event that the house is smoked in. ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES & DRUGS- Illegal activity and substances are not allowed in the home. If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. PARTIES- Parties are not allowed on the property. In fact, city rules won’t allow it and we could lose the ability to host future guests. If you do host a party, you are responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. PARKING- Two covered parking spaces are available. Please don’t park blocking any of our neighbors' driveways. Note: The house has cameras on the front porch and parking area of the house. With a different restaurant within walking distance every night, your culinary options are vast. For a change of scenery, consider a day trip to the nearby towns of Bay St. Louis, Long Beach, Gulfport, Biloxi, and Ocean Springs.

Guest Access

You’ll have the entire cottage to yourself. Entry is secure—codes are changed between each guest for your safety. While the home is fully independent, it shares exterior stairs with the neighboring cottage. The peaceful neighborhood atmosphere makes this a great place to slow down and settle in.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! The host was a fantastic communicator- responsive, helpful, and made everything very easy from booking through check-out. The cottage itself was very clean and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also perfect- close to restaurants and the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the area. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

Caroline is a fantastic host! She is very responsive and proactively communicates. The cottage is the perfect size and is stocked with lots of clean towels, laundry detergent pods, k-cups, coffee creamer, olive oil, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. The color scheme and decor is serene and inviting, with comfy beds and furniture. Would definitely stay there again.

This place was a great location, a fair price, a great option for a pet friendly place! We had our small puppy with us, so finding a pet friendly option was necessary, and this was a really great option. I also appreciated the room darkening curtains and the sound machine in the room!
